Getting Started
You are able to see a physical therapist without a prescription from your doctor or specialist, but it is unlikely that your insurance company will pay for those services. To utilize your insurance, we recommend that you contact or see your medical provider and ask for a written prescription, i.e. primary care physician, orthopedist, and/or other specialist. Your insurance may require you to visit with your physician before being evaluated by a physical therapist. Please note: If you prefer to privately pay for physical therapy services, simply contact our office for those rates and schedule an appointment.

Scheduling
Once you have scheduled your first appointment, here are a few items of information that will help you. At Williamstown Physical Therapy we will do our best to work with your schedule and accommodate your needs.

  • Hours of operation are from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday-Friday
  • The evaluation will take approximately 1 Hour. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to insure that all your paperwork is completed and correct.
  • Please dress in a way that will allow your therapist the best opportunity to evaluate you effectively.

Insurance
Once you receive a prescription and/or insurance referral for physical therapy, call our office at (413) 458-8090 to schedule an appointment. Our front office staff will need some important information regarding insurance verification. Please make sure you come prepared at your first appointment with your insurance card ID, group number, birth date of the subscriber and insurance customer service phone number.

All co-payments are due on date of service. For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, debit cards, Visa and Mastercard.
